Any new clients will have a 1 hour thorough assessment of patients physical and emotional condition through observation, questioning, and examination. After identifying a protocol, the practitioner begins treatment. Treatment focuses mainly on needling, but may incorporate adjunct therapies such as electro-stimulation (painless electrical stimulation to the needle which increases pain relief), cupping (painless suctioning of cups on muscles to promote circulation and remove toxins), or guasha (painless scraping on skin with a rounded object to promote circulation and remove toxins). It is important to complete your medical intake form prior to arrival. Most often, your therapist will spend your first appointment focused entirely on health history, questioning and examination.
